Moon watched Pyrite, her head turning to watch him as he circled. She laughed and reached up her neck to try and catch the lively foal. It was a surprise to her that no one had been woken yet by the noise.

Pyrite laughed and kept running. He ran past Moon and right into a bush. Now, his head was stuck. The res of his body was outside the bush, but his head was inside. He pulled and pulled, but couldn't get out. His muffled voice came through the leaves. "Moon! Hello? Anybody?"

Moon trotted over to help Pyrite. Despite herself she couldn't stop from giggling slightly at him for getting stuck. She lifted her hoof into the bush holding the leaves away from the colts head by a little, making a large space which would hopefully allow him to get out of the bush again.

Pyrite continued to pull as Moon lifted the leaves away. Suddenly, he felt himself flying backwards. It ended with him hitting something and falling over. Sitting up, Pyrite shook his head and looked around before grinning at Moon, standing up, and trotting over to her nickering softly

Moon laughed it seemed that nothing could stop this foal. She smiled and gave a playful snort lowering her head to nip playfully at Pyrite's mane. Slowly it was getting brighter and soon the others in the herd would be awakening.

Pyrite snorted back, obviously pleased with himself for something. He whinnied and pranced around the mare, nudging her side and nickering. Jumping around, he dived under her and playfully nipped her front leg before coming out on the other side and dashing away at top speed.

It seemed to Moon that Pyrite wanted her to chase after him so she gave him a few seconds to get a good head start. She cantered after him still a little sluggishly because it was still rather early.

Pyrite was the opposite of Moon. He zipped around leaping and whooping with joy. Sometimes, he would hover in front of her, then take off at last second, laughing and teasing her about it. He snorted and jumped over a ditch, making his way back towards the herd where some of the horses were starting to wake up.

Slowly the running was beginning to wake Moon up a little, it was just in time too the ditch Pyrite had leaped was right up ahead of her. She took off last moment barely making it. She shook her head tossing her mane to wake herself up. She moved up into a gallop after Pyrite catching up a little bit as they headed back in the direction of the herd.

Pyrite sped up a little and put on a small burst of speed. He was close to the herd now. Deciding to slow down, he tried, but found he was going too fast. As a result, he skidded and ran into a groggy-looking stallion who was just waking up, falling over and doing a summersault-like flip over the horse. Pyrite landed on his side, but immediately got up and ran back to Moon so that he wouldn't get yelled at, hopefully.

Moon slowed to a walk a long time before Pyrite did, she wasn't going to go galloping straight towards the herd. She watched him as he ran into the stallion, she obviously was no match for the stallion but still she stepped in front of the colt protectively watching to see what the stallion would do. Not all horses were fond of foals like herself.

Pyrite peeked out from behind Moon, careful to see that she wouldn't get hurt. Of course he couldn't exactly do anything about it, but still. He watched as the stallion rose and looked between him and Moon before trotting off with a small nod and a quick smile. That surprised Pyrite. He snorted and whinnied at Moon, waiting to see what she would do.

Moon watched the stallion feeling a little surprised. She turned back to Pyrite and whispered to him "Lucky escape". She started walking forwards again slowly glancing back at the foal to see if he was coming.

Pyrite bounded after her, jumping around and whinnying with joy. He snorted at a passing beetle, knocking it out of the air, before catching up with Moon and trotting by her side.

Moon laughed watching Pyrite "aren't you tired?" she questioned thinking of all she had seen the foal do to day from chasing things to jumping things to galloping and crashing into horses there was a lot, he had probably been awake long before he woke her too.
