Before Cheveyo could reply Fiona was already galloping off but of course he didn't mind since he had just been about to agree anyway. He laughed giving a playful nicker and a buck before taking off after Fiona at a gallop, he mightn't be just as quick as his sister but he wasn't slow either.

Fiona sped up and leapt over a fallen tree before continuing down the hill and looping back, heading towards the lake. She gave a joyful neigh and kept running, glancing behind her to see that Cheveyo was following.

Cheveyo was following not all too close behind but not very far away either. He leapt over the fallen tree like Fiona had, galloping down the hill after her and also looping back towards the lake. His coat was beginning to dry off now and the wind was flattening it against his back a little so it was no longer all sticky up and ruffled.

Fiona laughed and turned from the lake at last second, knowing that he would probably follow. She snorted and whinnied with glee again, jumping into the air and bucking as she continued to run all over the place. No doubt she felt like a foal, but it also felt good to be able to just run and leap and jump with no worries of survival or being laughed at or caught.

Cheveyo seeing it and knowing that it was there turned a while before the lake closing the distance between him and Fiona by a little. He gave another joyful whinny and a few bucks, if having a mare was always this fun then he no doubt wanted to have a few great ones like Fiona.

Fiona, seeing that he was closer than before, put on a burst of speed and turned another sharp corner, going faster than ever and making sure not to slip or fall. That would just be plain embarrassing. However, this was great fun and she was loving it. With another whinny of joy, she bucked and jumped over a small dip.

Cheveyo followed Fiona around the sharp bend only speeding up slightly to keep the same distance between them and not to catch up. He gave a buck and a joyful whinny before leaping over the small dip with plenty of space to spare.

Fiona glanced back with a small smile, turning again and looping around so she could run next to him. She whinnied and nudged him before galloping in front of him a bit. She jumped and bucked with joy as she lept over a small ditch, coming to a halt down by the lake once more.
((OOC: Just want to say, check the herd ranks because I added a few horses and seasons to the plot post and right now it's summer... So, yeah. You might want to check out the seasons and stuff. ))

[I'll go check now. I'm adding some new horses too in a minute by the way]
Cheveyo followed Fiona leaping over the ditch and coming to a stop by the lake again. By now his coat was dry again. "That was fun" he exclaimed nuzzling her happily. What next he didn't know, maybe exploring the mountains.....?

((OOC: Cool. I added horses to put on the charrie adoption list and stuff. Also, did you see the post in the news? I posted something about wanting mods. We may want them. I have kind of like this form application thingy. It might attract newcomers. Might.))
Fiona sighed peacefully and nodded. "Yes, that was fun." She trotted down and bent her head down to take a few sips. The water felt cool and tasted great. She nickered and layed down to cool off. Not in the water, but just beside it.

[Yeah I saw it. I'll look at the adoption horses too (:]
Cheveyo followed Fiona to the lake lowering his head to drink a little of the cool water. He stood above where she lay turning his head to look around in case any other horses were near, stallions to chase away, mares to court into the herd.

((OOC: Cool.))
Fiona nickered softly at a passing butterfly. She snorted and looked at it for a bit before turning her head and standing up. Shaking the mud and dirt from herself she trotted around the lake towards a small bush and picked a few weeds from it, chewing and swallowing. Not bad. Suddenly she felt a bit strange, but she didn't show it. She was going into heat.

Cheveyo smiled watching Fiona, he didn't notice anything yet but he knew the season for mares to be in heat had started, it was summer now. He lowered his head to graze munching on the grass that grew near where the lake began. He would have to try get some more mares for his herd before they were all in heat since the lone stallions would all be fighting over the mares soon.

Fiona swished her tail to slap away a fly and trotted forwards a bit, making more distance between her and Cheveyo without really knowing or realizing it. She lifted her head just about once before continuing to graze.

Cheveyo could smell Fiona's heat scent now. He watched her wondering if she was making the distance between them greater on purpose. He continued to graze but he slowly moved in her direction as he did so, closing the gap again.
