A mare is seen off in the distance from inside the West Moon herd territory. She is just outside of the territory, grazing and just minding her own business. She flicks her tail around and her scent goes into the wind. Then she snorts softly and raises her head before putting it back down. Kara moves into the bushes, out of sight from any onlookers that might be watching her from the distance in the West Moon herd. This was her favorite spot to graze. Slowly, she makes her way farther and farther from the herd that she doesn't belong to. Thoughts flow through her head of the foal she had left there many years ago.
Lifting her head, Kara whinnies into the wind, letting her lost son, Pyrite, know that she is here, keeping watch over the herd.

A horse other than Kara's colt heard the whinny, this wasn't a colt but more of a stallion. It was Enchanted. With an elegant step the grey stallion trotted towards the mare, his neck arched a little, mane catching the wind. He came to a stop a few steps from her smiling slightly he said in his usual gentle tone "Why hello there"

Kara lifted her head and looked at the stallion. She was not in heat, but she went into heat every year like all the other mares. Thankfully, she wasn't in heat yet. She looked at the stallion carefully with caution in her expression. Slowly, she dipped her head slightly and said,"Hello." Kara wondered what he was doing here and why.

Enchanted smiled at the mare. "My name is Enchanted" he told her bowing his head downwards and moving one of his legs forward to meet his head elegantly. He lifted his head again after a moment and went back to standing normally waiting for her to tell him her name.

Kara listened carefully and stood up a little straighter, more proud. She narrowed her eyes a little and said,"And you may call me Kara." She didn't do anything fancy like bow or anything. She just stood straight, now cautious and tense, looking out and making sure he wouldn't try anything on her.
