Fiona nodded and softly snorted, following Cheveyo. She now was sure she knew that this was to find another mare for the small two-horse herd. She sighed inwardly, but didn't say anything. The scenery though was beautiful. She looked around and closed her eyes, stopping to smell the flowers occasionally and drink from the stream.

Cheveyo was happy with just Fiona but of course having another mare would be nice too yet he didn't expect that they would find one up in the mountains, since wouldn't a mare up there have heard his earlier whinny and come down or left? The direction the other stallion had come from had also been this way so it would have been hard for him to miss a mare. Of course Cheveyo didn't know a lonely mare had only just wandered onto the mountains following the distant scent of horses therefore he was so surprised when he heard a whinny coming from above them that he came to a stop. He pricked his ears and gazing upwards only barely able to make out the figure of a mare trotting down the mountains towards them. That mare was Jennah. He glanced at Fiona before giving a short but soft nicker in reply.

Fiona snorted softly and looked away. Wonderful. He had found a new mare. Well, hopefully and at least she wouldn't be totally ignored. He still needed her in his herd, though she must admit she felt a small sense of jealousy in her heart. Now why was that? Fiona forced herself to stay calm. This wasn't right. She'd make it. She told herself that she was certain of that.

Cheveyo looked at Fiona giving her a loving nuzzle. "C'mon let's go" he said nudging her, feeling a little excited at the thought that this might be the second mare in his herd. He was considering asking Fiona to be his lead mare anyway but now it was more important to expand his herd a little. With just the two of them everything had been nice but it had barely been a proper herd. Jennah continued to trot down towards the two other horses giving a bit of a nicker to them.

Fiona nickered softly and followed, though staying behind a little. She didn't want to get in the way of him meeting this new mare. She gave a small snort and walked after him. So the herd was growing. She supposed that was good, but she wasn't sure. For now, she would just be herself and not worry about anything. Hopefully this wouldn't mean anything bad. Yes, changes, but nothing bad.
